Quick Thoughts
I came across this promotion in the ‘My Offers‘ section on both my account and my wife’s. I don’t remember registering either of us for it, nor did we ever receive emails about the promotion before we were registered, nor confirming once we were registered. Having Globalist status, I get auto-enrolled in all offers I’m eligible for; the same goes for my wife even though she no longer has Globalist status, so that’s presumably why we did get registered, even if the lack of any kind of confirmation was unusual.
I’m therefore not sure if this is a targeted promotion. I don’t see anything in the terms suggesting that it is targeted, so it’s worth registering for it even if you don’t have any imminent plans for a Vegas trip.
Getting 20% of your points back could be a great deal, especially if you’ll be booking a longer stay and/or a stay at a property that has high redemption costs. That said, double check the cash pricing for your dates because award redemptions in Vegas sometimes offer terrible value as cash rates are sometimes very low.
There’s sadly no list on the registration page stating which properties are classed as eligible, so hopefully there aren’t a bunch of them excluded from the list of “participating Las Vegas-area properties.”

What are those participating properties?
