There’s an IHG Amex Offer out that gives you $50 back when you spend at least $250 at select IHG properties in the US, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, UK, Japan & Germany. The spend requirement is additive, so it can be on more than one transaction, and the total spend must be reached by 5/26/26 in order to trigger the offer.

Quick Thoughts
It’s been about a year since we last saw an Amex offer for IHG, which makes sense given that Chase issues all of IHG’s credit cards. While the terms officially exclude gift cards, these offers can usually be triggered by buying a gift card from the front desk of a hotel. That said, most IHG hotels won’t sell gift cards at the front desk, with the notable exception of Kimpton.
If you have paid stays at any included IHG properties, this is a winner, and it’s widely targeted…I have it on most of my Amex Membership Rewards-earning cards. Be sure to register for IHG’s current promotion before your stay(s).

I’m so glad I saw this! Getting ready to check into IHG (with over $400 booked) and had used my new Chase! I’ve added the offer and will change cards at check-in. 🙂
To follow up, my card was charged the day I checked out and I immediately received the credit the following day. No issues. Again, I am so thankful the timing worked out for me, so thank y’all for posting all the time!
