JetBlue has a travel portal called Paisly which is currently offering triple JetBlue TrueBlue points on hotel bookings. While that might sound good, it’s not really. As a result, it’s likely only people who are seeking JetBlue status who might get some value from this promotion and even then it’s questionable.

JetBlue Paisly 3x points on hotel bookings

The Deal

  • Earn 3x points when booking hotel stays through the Paisly by JetBlue portal.
  • Direct link to offer.

Key Terms

  • 3X bonus point offer valid only for Paisly hotel reservations that are purchased 07/14/24 – 07/22/24 for travel any date.
  • TrueBlue number must be entered at time of booking to receive points.
  • TrueBlue number must be valid and match the lead traveler’s Last Name.
  • New bookings only.
  • All Members generally earn one (1) TrueBlue point per dollar spent on the pre-tax price of their hotel stay. Members qualifying for this offer will earn three (3) TrueBlue points per dollar spent on their pre-tax price of their hotel stay after travel is complete.

Quick Thoughts

Earning 3x points on hotel stays could be a good offer if the base earnings were already decent. Unfortunately they’re not. You only earn 1 point per dollar as standard when booking hotel stays through Paisly, so this promotion means you’ll earn 3x TrueBlue points per dollar.

The reason that’s not worth it is because of what you’d be forgoing. If you have status with the hotel chain you’d be booking, you won’t be eligible for elite status benefits. You won’t earn points, nor will you earn elite night credits if that’s something important to you. If the hotel chain is running some other kind of promotion (e.g. double points on stays in their own program), you’d miss out on that too. You’d also be forgoing shopping portal rewards if the hotel chain or OTA you’d normally book with is available through portals.

So, is there anyone this could make sense for? Possibly. If you don’t have any hotel status or would be booking an independent property and you’re chasing JetBlue status, this might be worth considering. That’s because bookings through Paisly will not only earn 3x TrueBlue points, but you’ll also earn Tiles towards Mosaic status too. If you have JetBlue credits cards, you earn 1 Tile per $1,000 of spend. However, if booking travel through Paisly by JetBlue, you’ll earn 1 Tile per $100 of spend. Earning 300 JetBlue points + 1 Tile for every $100 spent on hotels might be worth it for some, but even then it’s questionable.
