A new Amex Offer for MasterClass.com appeared a couple of days for some cardholders which offers a completely free annual membership. If you were targeted and are quick, you can stack that with a current BOGO deal to get two free memberships.

Quick Thoughts
Greg, Nick and I all struck out on being targeted for this MasterClass Amex Offer which is a shame as it’s a great deal. An annual membership normally costs $180, so getting $180 back means you get a free membership, but it can get better than that.
That’s because they’re currently running a Buy One Get One promotion. That offer is due to end on December 28, 2020, so there’s only a few days left available to stack these two offers.
What’s particularly nice about the BOGO offer is that it’s also being marketed as a “buy one MasterClass annual membership, get/share one free” promotion. That ‘share’ part means you can take advantage of a free membership for yourself and also gift a membership to someone else for free this holiday season. If you and anyone in your life have an interest in any of the classes (and there’s a wide array of classes), that’s $360 of value. While I wouldn’t actually pay $360 for two memberships and so it’s questionable whether that does represent $360 of “value”, it’s a great opportunity to test out their offering for free. After taking a MasterClass, it might be that you do regard it as having $180 of value and so want to continue the membership in a year’s time.

I had signed up for this a few months back. It’s interesting but certainly not $180 worth of interesting. I’d pay $10-25 for it if I had to–it held my interest for a couple of days
