JetBlue Vacations launched a new promotion yesterday which is awarding Mosaic 1 status for anyone booking a $4,500+ vacation package to Europe for travel through the end of October, with that status lasting through December 31, 2026. If you already have Mosaic status, you’ll be bumped up to the next Mosaic level through December 31, 2025.
This promo will border on being worthless for someone who’ll be traveling solo as they might automatically earn Mosaic 1 status regardless. However, for the right subset of people – particularly those booking a package for a larger family – this could be an opportunity worth considering.
Note that the promo listed below is entirely different from this separate promotion which JetBlue announced today and which is far more compelling.
The Deal
- Earn Mosaic 1 status when booking a $4,500+ flight + hotel package to Europe. If you have Mosaic status, you’ll be upgraded to the next tier.
- Direct link to offer.
Key Terms
- Mosaic 1 Offer Terms and Restrictions: Mosaic 1 or next level of Mosaic (for members already qualified for Mosaic 1, 2, or 3) offer valid for the lead traveler only on purchases of JetBlue Vacations Flight + Hotel bookings of $4,500+ (inclusive of taxes and fees) to London-Heathrow (LHR), London-Gatwick (LGW), Paris Charles de-Gaulle (CDG), Amsterdam (AMS), Madrid (MAD), Dublin (DUB), or Edinburgh (EDI) made between 6/23/25 and 6/26/25 for travel between 6/26/25 and 10/31/25. Members making qualifying purchases will receive Mosaic 1 through 12/31/26 or next level of Mosaic through 12/31/25. TrueBlue number must be valid and match the lead traveler’s last name, and must be added to the traveler’s booking either at time of booking or in “Manage Trips” before flying to qualify.
- This is a limited time offer. Mosaic status grant will be awarded individually to the lead traveler only and does not apply to other members on the same booking. JetBlue flights only; partner airline bookings are not eligible as qualifying activity. Offer has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash. Offer is valid for new JetBlue Vacations purchases only and not valid for the following: travel booked before this promotion commenced, non-revenue bookings (e.g., travel booked with a travel certificate, a combination of TrueBlue points and monetary payment, etc.), or any excluded product or service. Cancellations are for JetBlue Vacations travel credit only, valid for 1 year. Changes/cancellations not rebooked under these terms prior to 6/26/25 will forfeit this offer.
Quick Thoughts
JetBlue has confirmed to us that the $4,500 spend requirement is cumulative across all parties in a booking. That means that if you book a trip for two to Europe via JetBlue Vacations which costs $2,250 per person, that $4,500 cumulative spend will be enough for the lead traveler to earn Mosaic 1 status.
So far, so good (ish).
JetBlue has also confirmed that if you earn Mosaic 1 status through this promotion, you’ll be eligible to select one of the Perks You Pick:

To earn Mosaic status in the JetBlue TrueBlue program normally, you have to earn 50 Tiles for Mosaic 1, 100 Tiles for Mosaic 2, 150 Tiles for Mosaic 3 and 200 Tiles for Mosaic 4. You earn one Tile for every $100 you spend on JetBlue flights, with JetBlue Vacations and with Paisly by JetBlue, as well as one Tile for every $1,000 you spend on a JetBlue credit card.
Here’s where the promotion has the potential to become mediocre, verging on pointless. If you’re a solo traveler who books a $4,500 trip to Europe for this promotion, you’d automatically earn 45 Tiles. If you paid for it on a JetBlue credit card, you’d earn a further 4 Tiles. That puts you at 49 Tiles – just one short of 50 which is enough for the Mosaic status that this promotion awards. That means that if you booked a $5,000 package just for yourself, you’d earn 50 Tiles and thus automatically earn Mosaic 1 status even without the help of the promotion.
The math works differently the less you spend on a per-person basis for the package though. That’s because although the $4,500+ spend for this promotion is cumulative across all the people you’re booking for on one itinerary, that spend isn’t cumulative for Tile earning. Instead, JetBlue awards Tiles based on the cost of each individual’s portion of the package, provided you enter a TrueBlue account number for each person in the first place.
For example, if there are two of you and you spend $2,300 per person (i.e. $4,600 total), each of you would earn 23 Tiles, rather than the lead traveler earning 46 of them. For a family of four spending $1,200 per person (i.e. $4,800 total), each of you would only earn 12 Tiles. That’s a far cry from the 50 Tiles you need for earning Mosaic 1 status organically, so this promotion could be particularly useful for a family where you can put together a low enough cost per person to meet the $4,500 spend requirement.
If you do take advantage of this promotion and then have the intention to earn even higher levels of Mosaic status through the end of the year, be aware that the promotion doesn’t automatically give you 50 Tiles in order to get you to Mosaic status; it simply jumps you up there. That means that in order to get to 100 Tiles for Mosaic 2 status, you’ll have to earn enough additional Tiles to get from where you’re at.
In the example I gave above of a family of four spending $1,200 per person on a JetBlue Vacations package, the lead traveler would earn 12 Tiles and also get Mosaic 1 status courtesy of the promo. In order to reach Mosaic 2 status at 100 Tiles, they’d therefore have to earn an additional 88 Tiles rather than an additional 50.
That means that earning higher status levels works in a similar way to earning status with Marriott via an Amex Platinum card. One of the Platinum card’s benefits is automatic Gold status in the Marriott Bonvoy program (enrollment required) which is normally earned with 25 elite night credits. Amex doesn’t achieve that by awarding elite night credits though, so if you want to get to Platinum status with Marriott, you have to earn the full 50 elite night credits for that status level. This JetBlue Vacations promotion therefore works in a likewise manner to get from Mosaic 1 to Mosaic 2.
