Offer Valid 12/8/14 – 12/31/14
Enroll in this Amex Offer by linking your Amex card to your Twitter account (here) and Tweet #AmexNewegg. You may also find this offer when you log into your Amex account under “Offers for You”. Or, enroll automatically with OffersBot (see “Bet You Didn’t Know: Never miss an Amex Sync deal with OffersBot”).
This $25 rebate amounts to a 12.5% discount if you spend exactly $200 at NewEgg.
Keep in mind that NewEgg offers a wide variety of gift cards. While I haven’t tested it yet, these purchases should work as long as they total $200 or more. Unfortunately, NewEgg limits you to one gift card of each type per order (so I wasn’t able to buy two $100 Kmart gift cards, for example).
The traveling crowd may be interested in gift cards for American Airlines, Hyatt, BedandBreakfast.com, and several cruise lines. You could, for example, buy a $250 AA gift card and get $25 back for a 10% discount.

CAN YOU BUY A NEWEGG GC THEN USE THAT TO BUY 2 KMART GC?
I don’t know about that, but another option is to place separate orders, each for 1 Kmart GC
Thanks for the heads up on the AA gift certs – had no idea NewEgg sold these! Nice, easy $25!
nevermind!
For the newegg.com offer, it says it’s not valid on gift cards. So if I purchase a royal caribbean gift card, will I still get the credit? I synced when I logged in, not from twitter.

Unfortunately, the Kmart GCs are e-gift cards an limited to one card of each value. Great if you’re going to shop online at Sears or Kmart, but not too good for in-store purchases.
You can print them and use them in-store, or add them to an app like GoWallet in order to show the gift card to the cashier on your phone.
I added this offer to 5 Amex cards. Unfortunately, I don’t see much point with this offer for MS unless I can find useful gc’s at Kmart/Sears. I’m not interested in purchasing any goods from Newegg.
It’s worth noting that you can make two $100 purchases that create a TOTAL of $200, thereby qualifying for your $25 statement credit.
I haven’t been to a Kmart or Sears around here to see what gift cards they offer. It seems it’s YMMV regarding what you can find, but obviously I’d prefer pin-based visa/mastercard gc’s.
Would like to hear anyone else’s experiences with what they’ve found at Sears/Kmart and if they were able to use store gift cards to purchase other gift cards?
Thanks, good catch about being able to spread the spend over multiple orders! Yes, Sears registers allow buying other gift cards with Sears gift cards, but not all cashiers allow it so there is some risk there. They do sell Amazon, gas, Visa, and other useful gift cards.
If you buy 2 Kmart $100 gift cards you have to wait 48 hours between purchases.
