Quick Thoughts
These are all decent deals if you’re targeted and can make use of them. Note that the Hilton offer is only valid at properties in Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America, so this won’t help with domestic stays.
There are a couple of different Amazon Amex Offers – one that’s good on up to $400 spend and one on up to $500 spend. The Home Depot deal is a great offer too as we don’t see discounts of this kind very often. If you don’t need to use the Amazon and/or Home Depot offers immediately, you can buy gift cards to lock in the bonus points/discount.
Keep an eye out for other Amex Offers that might be of interest for you too. There are new deals for Tory Burch, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Redbox, Jersey Mike’s, Chico’s, White House Black Market and many more. Most of these don’t expire until the end of the year which makes them particularly useful for holiday shopping.

I rarely am targeted for any of the better offers from Amex. Do you find that those offers are most often available on platinum cards? I currently have Hilton and Business cards.
It can vary. Sometimes offers will be targeted at business cards, other times on Platinum cards and other times just randomly. Having said that, if you don’t have any cards that earn Membership Rewards, that’s another factor for getting some offers.
