For a while, Hyatt has offered 500 bonus points per night at select new hotels. Now, Hyatt has doubled the usual deal. April through June 2021, Hyatt is offering 1,000 bonus points per night at participating new hotels. This overlaps nicely with Hyatt’s 2nd Quarter Bonus Journeys promotion which ends June 15th.
The Deal
Earn 1,000 Bonus Points for every qualifying night at participating new hotels – when you check out between April 1 and June 30, 2021.

Note that some of the properties currently on the list are only valid for bonus points through March 31st and so they won’t qualify for this promotion. Also note that Hyatt regularly adds new properties to the list and so it is worth checking back regularly.
- Registration is not required.
Combine with Bonus Journeys
Hyatt’s 2nd Quarter Bonus Journeys promotion runs March 1 through June 15 and so there is a good overlap between the two deals. As a reminder, Bonus Journeys offers the following:
- Members earn 2,000 Bonus Points every two qualifying nights
- World of Hyatt Credit Cardmembers earn 2,500 Bonus Points every two qualifying nights – that’s 500 extra Bonus Points
- Plus all members earn a Free Night Award (Category 1-4) after your first ten qualifying nights
- Registration is required by May 15th. Register here.
For stays that meet the criteria of both promotions, you can earn 4,000 points for every two nights (or 4,500 points if you have the World of Hyatt card)
Quick Thoughts
If you’re planning to stay at a qualifying Hyatt anyway, then obviously this is a nice extra. Those interested in mattress running for elite status or for Milestone Rewards may be especially interested in this promotion. If you can find a cheap enough rate, the extra bonus points can go a long way towards reimbursing your earned elite nights.
