Grocery is always a great category but I wish the limits were higher. We’ll have that burned in less than a month.
In addition to the Chase Freedom categories for Q1 2025 listed above, in thefine print of the Chase T&C, I’ve also been offered a “birthday” offer from 3/1/25 to 3/31/25 of 5% cash back for Tax Preparation & Insurance. I think this relates to Chase Freedom’s 35th birthday. Does anyone else see this in the T&C? I assume there is still a limit of $1,500 total spend which includes the other Q1 categories.
Yeah, I saw that too. It is an odd move. I love the insurance category. I spend way more on insurance than on groceries (and we have 5 Freedom/Freedom Flex cards in my household). But why not include it as just another category for the 3 months–unless it is a separate $1500 limit?
