Rakuten is running a one day sale that’s awarding 10x points (or 10% cashback) at a range of travel sites. TopCashback is also offering increased rates for many travel sites, so it’s worth checking both shopping portals to find the best rate for you.

Quick Thoughts

10x points (which can be transferred to American Express Membership Rewards or Bilt Points) is a decent return for many of these sites, with Viator actually being at 14x.

Be sure to check the terms of the site(s) you’re interested in making a booking through though. That’s because some of them are “up to” 10x which means that some purchases will earn 10x, but some will earn less. For example, Priceline will earn 10x on ‘all other hotel’ bookings, but only 4x on Express Deals Hotels and rental cars, 3x on cruises, and $2 (i.e. 200 points) on flights.

As always, it’s worth comparing portal rates using Cashback Monitor or Savewise. For example, TopCashback is running Travel Week Super Cash Back which has enhanced earning rates for various travel sites too. At the time of publishing this post, IHG is at 12% cashback, Viator at up to 15%, Hilton at 8%, Radisson at 15%, and more. Those rates are subject to change over the course of the next week, so it’ll be worth checking TopCashback in the coming days as well if you’re planning on booking any travel in case other sites you’re interested in get boosted in the meantime.

Also 30x at Point.me.

L3 again

That’s 10% – not 10x.

Ben

If you set your Rakuten to receive Amex MR or Bilt points, then 10% = 10x.
