…but searching those same dates via Skyscanner shows prices as low as $446.

Just booked with AA LAX-HND(NRT)-CNS(SYD)-LAX 6/13-7/16 with 2 weeks in Japan for 694.55. Not bad, right? Could have done it for $20 less if i flew on JetStar 2 days earlier out of NRT but that gets into CNS too early at 04:30 and I would rather fly the mainline metal on QS.

Great Post I LOVE AUS but not now 113F ..If u can fly SW it was MDW>LAX like 6K points rt + Cash to AUS. Great Deal .Once u get there use local cheap air or points to fly around .Great place 5* hotels for 3* price , can’t wait to go back with Cash not points (save them)…
