There’s a great new Marriott Homes & Villas Chase Offer and BankAmeriDeal out on some targeted cards that’s giving $100 back as a statement credit when spending $100 or more.
The Deal
- Spend $100+ on Marriott Homes & Villas stays & get $100 back as a statement credit with a targeted Chase Offer/BankAmeriDeal.
Key Terms
- Complete payment for your stay must be made by June 10, 2022.
- Offer valid one time only.
- Offer only valid at Homes & Villas by Marriott properties.
- Offer not valid at other Marriott properties.
Quick Thoughts
There was a Homes & Villas Amex Offer recently giving $200 back when spending $1,000. This offer isn’t as generous in terms of the size of the statement credit, but the fact that you only have to spend $100 to get $100 back makes this a much easier deal to take advantage of.
It might be possible for you to take advantage of this offer more than once. Although you can only get one statement credit per card, if you have multiple Chase cards targeted with this offer you could book one night at a time and pay for each night with a different card. I don’t think that approach will work with the BankAmeriDeal version of this offer because I think BankAmeriDeals can only be used once across all your cards, but I might be wrong about that.
A downside with booking one night at a time is that you might not end up coming out ahead. I’ve not booked a Marriott Homes & Villas stay before, but I’m assuming they charge service fees and cleaning fees per stay, so booking one night at a time would mean you’d end up paying all those fees for every single night, rather than per stay.
Another downside with booking longer stays one night at a time is that it means you’d be forgoing the opportunity to earn 30,000 bonus points for a stay of 5+ nights. If you need to book a longer stay of that kind, it’d be worth running the numbers of booking separate stays versus booking one stay to see which offers the better return when taking into account the statement credits, fees, bonus points, etc. Also be sure to click through from a shopping portal to earn cashback on the stay(s).
I have this offer on 4 different Chase cards. Do you think it’s possible to split the payment of a stay across all 4?
Only if you book each night separately – it’s unfortunately not like at a hotel where you can split the cost at the end of your stay.
does the booking have to be in the us? i don’t see anything in the terms but wondering how it would work for charges in other currencies…the USD amount charged in the card would count??
Minimum stay requires 3 nights – so basically negates the Amex offer as most rates start at $200 + fees (x3 nights minimum).
I found a few that had a minimum of 2 nights but none with 1 night.
