If you took advantage of the recent Amex Offer for Steamboat Ski Resort, there’s a new SPG promotion to help you save money on accommodation there and some other SPG properties at ski resorts.
The Deal
- Book a stay at one of four villa resorts in Avon or Steamboat Springs and save up to 30%.
- You’ll also receive 1,000 Starpoints and a $25 resort credit per stay.
Key Details
- Book by January 22, 2018 for stays from now through to April 15, 2018.
- Book online or call 866-716-8134 and use special code GUESTENL.
- Properties included in the promotion are:
- Sheraton Lakeside Terrace Villas at Mountain Vista, Avon / Vail Valley (resort credit not available at this property)
- The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas, Beaver Creek Mountain
- Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas
- Sheraton Mountain Vista Villas, Avon / Vail Valley
Quick Thoughts
This could be a solid deal if you’re planning on going skiing at one of these resorts in the next few months.
This promotion should also stack with SPG’s current Great Weeks, Grand Weekends promotion. If your stay at one of these resorts was your second stay during the current promotion period, you’d end up with:
- Up to 30% off
- 1,000 bonus Starpoints
- $25 statement credit
- Double base Starpoints
- 500 bonus Starpoints if your stay includes a weekend night
Be sure to check the rates both with and without the promo code though. When doing a search at Sheraton Mountain Vista Villas, Avon / Vail Valley for March 21-25, the only room type available when using the GUESTENL code was a two bedroom villa for $472 including charges and taxes.
That room type wasn’t available for those dates without the promo code. However, there was a one bedroom villa available for just $375 per night if prepaying.
Just a warning: Check the snow conditions before you book! At the moment, ski conditions in Colorado are not good.
Good to know – thanks!
that’s an understatement. the snow is terrible.
