Through the AAdvantage eShopping portal, Sears is offering 12 miles per dollar.
The terms & conditions are silent about whether gift card purchases count. Past experience has shown that physical gift card orders do count (despite being sold by Kmart), but there is some evidence to suggest that e-gift cards and print gift cards may work as well. Unfortunately, we probably won’t know for sure before this promotion has ended.

12x is good, but not as great as UAs 16x deal.
I ordered physical gift cards from sears on 10/9 through united portal. Think I’ll get them by 10/12?
Glad to see this as I wasn’t able to finish all of my shopping last night with the same rate through MileagePlus.
