Is there a credit card that is best for Simon VCG purchases? I purchased using my chase freedom unlimited.

I just went to my local one today in Kennewick and she hadn’t heard anything about it. No matter, still profited from the run.
Odd. I stopped at a random Simon yesterday and didn’t even have to ask for the deal, they automatically rang it up with the dollar off (these promos always do require the cashier to manually take off the dollar per card, but they’re usually valid at all Simon Malls). Like Greg said, maybe not all locations are participating?
I looked online for my local mall and see no mention of it anywhere. Is there a specific spot to look? I can only go in on Saturday and it was a new girl last time so that could possibly be it.

Do you know if that whole credit card numbers stealing thing is resolved for GiftcardMall (did it affect Simon?)?
I had a fraudulent charge as a result and have been reluctant to return.
