Quick Thoughts
We posted about the Turo Citi Offer last week which is giving $25 back when spending $150. That’s not quite as good as the $30 back you can get with a Turo Amex Offer, but this SimplyMiles deal could make the Citi Offer more appealing.
That’s because the only type of card you can link with SimplyMiles is a Mastercard, so it’s sadly never stackable with Amex Offers. Getting $25 back, 1,160 American Airlines miles and 1,600 Loyalty Points when spending $150 could make for a great deal if you need a short term rental that’s not much more expensive than that, not to mention the 500 or 2,000 Delta SkyMiles you can earn when clicking through from that partnership.
Bear in mind that credit card rental car coverage doesn’t cover you for vehicles rented with Turo.
