Quick Thoughts
This is a nice offer if you’re targeted for it, especially if you get it on a card that offers bonus points on travel purchases, or if you get it on a Southwest card. With a limit of $30 back, you’ll max it out when spending $300.
Southwest is currently offering a discount when buying Rapid Rewards, but those payments are processed by Points.com and so I’m fairly sure it won’t trigger the statement credit from this Chase Offer, so it will need to be used for actual flight purchases.
Works when buying GC from SWA website.
I got this on my Southwest Priority card, which I also just rolled over into a new anniversary year on so the $75 travel credit is renewed. Any guesses on whether a $75 purchase would trigger both credits and get me $82.50 back?
I can’t say for certain, but I imagine it would.
With SW PR
disingenuousbrazen lying about “weather related” cancellations 2,600 flights in June.Does SW really expect people to believe that when the other airlines were not cancelled – they should be honest and say that they are stuggling with staffing with FA/GA/Pilots calling in sick.
I had flown SW for 20+ years until 2019 when we figured we would gamble on them again an get a CP.
SW has lost the LUV – that said we booked tickets for Denver mid July NS flights which now have multiple layovers -thats BS.
flyinggambling on SW then 10% is a low reward to the risk ( unless its late fall).
