Spain in Premium Economy for $633, business class upgrade with miles?

Via God Save the Points and View from the Wing, there is a fantastic airfare sale from the East Coast to Spain in Air France Premium Economy for $633 round trip.

Whether you’re looking for the architecture of Gaudí or the Royal Palace of Madrid, there are dates available to Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao — others may be possible.

For more details and example dates, see this View from the Wing post or God Save the Points. Secret Flying.has a list of potential dates and city pairs, though more are likely possible.  For example, Gary at View from the Wing reports finding dates to Helsinki as well.

Even more interesting, you may be able to upgrade these tickets to business class using just 15,000 Delta miles each way.  See this post at for more detail.

Ryan, not fake. Going from JFK to BCN over Jul 4, for $663. These deals were around all morning, but you can’t expect them to stick around for days, you prob looked after it got killed

Fake post…all those dates show $1900 on Air france or higher

Airfares are extremely fluid and can change in minutes much less hours. The prices posted on this and other sites were accurate when posted. I decided to forego a purchase because it doesn’t fit my travel plans this year, but I checked out multiple dates and city pairs before making that decision, and had no trouble matching the posted price this morning.

Per AirFrance’s site:

Premium Economy tickets in class W, S, A can be upgraded with Flying Blue points to Business class.

my bad did not read close enough about booking on Delta forget my previous comment

Don’t forget about AMEX offer:
Air France Spend $1000+, get 20000 Membership Rewards Points

That seems unlikely since these are most likely ‘A’ fares (discount PE), and your link says only S/W PE fares can be upgraded with Delta miles.
