(EXPIRED) Swych: Get $10 Card Free When Sending $100 Gift Card & Using Promo Code HOLIDAYBONUS

Swych has been running deals every day for the last 10 days, usually offering a 3-10% discount or reward on a specific brand. None of those deals have been particularly exciting, but today’s offer is more rewarding as it offers a $10 bonus card when sending a $100 gift card to another Swych user.

What makes this interesting is that the $10 card can then be ‘Swyched’ for any third party gift card brand that’s available in the Swych app, including Amazon.

Quick Thoughts

One of the important things to note about this offer is that the HOLIDAYBONUS code only works when you send a gift card to someone else, not when you’re buying it for yourself.

To send a card, click the ‘Send’ tab at the top of the app and select which of your contacts you want to send it to. If you don’t want to allow the app to access your contacts, I think you can manually enter someone’s phone number instead. If they’re not currently a Swych user, I believe they get sent a text prompting them to download the app.

You can send a $100 gift card for any brand, although Amazon isn’t an option for that card (I don’t think Amazon allows anyone to sell their digital gift cards nowadays, but I might be wrong about that). Once you’ve sent the $100 card, the $10 bonus card that you receive can be Swyched for any brand, including for an Amazon gift card if that’s a brand that you want.

Swych sadly no longer earns 5x/5% on Ink Plus/Ink Cash cards when using PayPal. However, PayPal transactions are earning 5% on the Chase Freedom card for Q4 2019, so that’s an option if you’ve not already maxed out your $1,500 5% limit. Alternatively, Amazon Pay is an option and so you could pay with a Discover It card to earn 5%.

This deal will likely be popular as it’s profitable for gift card resellers, so if you’re interested in this deal then I’d do it ASAP rather than waiting until tomorrow (December 23) in case the code expires sooner than that.
