This past May, a group of about 120 “manufactured spend” enthusiasts gathered in Charlotte for the MileMadness DO. I wrote about this event here and said that “this was the best miles & points gathering I’ve ever attended.” Now, the same folks who organized that event are ready for round two which will hopefully be even better than the first one. This one is is named #westcoastDO.

- Date: November 8th (Saturday) 2014, from 10am (doors open 9:30am)
- Location Firesky Resort, Phoenix
- Confirmed speakers: Frequent Miler, Marathon Man, Miles Professor, Bengali Miles Guru, Points2PointB, and Matt@Saverocity.
- Unconfirmed speakers: we expect to have a couple more people joining the line up.
- What’s new: Panel Q/A for an hour to get more interactive with the group, more time between speakers, longer lunch to socialize
- What”s the same: Lunch is included (trying to get it outdoor as a grill session, but it will be great wherever it happens) A Social hour with Drinks and snacks

I’m happy to say I got “approval” from my spouse to attend…….and I got my ticket and my “cherry” Kimpton reservation and my BA 15k RT ticket on US Scareways from SFO…….now the big question is now that all of this ii in place “Is my spouse Manufactured Miles worthy” I don’t expect my fellow bloggers to assist in this philosophical dilemma……….but it is a corporate pain I think……….
Sold out already! Just now saw the post.
Oh, well, time to have another one on the East Coast!
I love how these self-appointed travel experts hold their “west coast” event in Phoenix, Arizona – soooo much credibility. Your east coast event will be scheduled for Chicago.
I’m glad that it’s only 2,495 points to fly to PHX from DEN that weekend. I mean, seriously…the ticket price will be more than my flight and hotel!! Lol.
See you guys in NOV
$159 + $22 What hotel are you staying at??
Hyatt in oldtown
I just got a ticket at 1015PST so it was live using the link above…….
Sold out. Is there a wait list? Would be interested to get a ticket
wow sold out
You taught me how to get the free one way to HNL at the end of my recent Italy trip; NOW show me how to get from HNL to MSY with a three day holder over in PHX. Really looking forward to attending my first “DO”
Am I reading that correctly in that tickets are *refundable* until Nov 1?? Wow…that’s impressive. Perhaps it’s because they know someone else will want to go if someone can’t attend?
probably changed due to fees?
Just bought my ticket. Price showed $110.15 at checkout, but charged $115. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces there.
