A friend sent me this deal from Meijer stores: Today only, join Shipt for a year for $49 (usual price is $99).
With a Shipt membership, you can order groceries from local grocery stores with no delivery charge for same day delivery orders of $35 or more. Shipt says that prices vary from store prices in order to cover costs, so you can bet that you really are paying for delivery, but via higher prices rather than an explicit charge.

I was able to still use the code on 9/8 even though it said today only (9/7). We have meijer close by and the Amex $50 off $100 is not one purchase so can go a long way. Once i buy $51 worth of stuff amex will cover for the annual membership. Had the offer on 3 cards (everyday, preferred and blue, all with membership rewards.)
One caveat to this, the discount to $49 for a yearly membership is a good offer if you have this on a ton of Amex cards and it will take several months (or more) to use them all, or if you plan to use this long term, however based on the UI when you go to register and create an account, I assume it will negate any other potential offers like the “SAVE25” code that gets you $25 off for new accounts. If you only have this on a couple of cards and don’t plan to use this service long term, you might be better off using the SAVE25 promo and just paying for 1 month of the service for $14 (or even just using the free 2 week trial).
