Quick Thoughts
We have seen some other recent shopping portal bonuses — at the moment, American has a mystery bonus where different members receive different offers. This United promotion is better than the bonus shopping offer I received from American — but only marginally better in terms of miles per dollar in relation to required spend (4.29x vs 4x). Still, a few extra miles per dollar is always welcome.
