The United MileagePlus Shopping portal is offering a tiered summer spending bonus. Between now and June 23rd, you can earn up to 1500 bonus United MileagePlus miles.

- Bonus miles awarded within 8-10 weeks after the promotion has ended
- Only one bonus per member based on cumulative purchases
- Things like shipping and tax do not count towards the purchase thresholds
Quick Thoughts
We have seen some other recent shopping portal bonuses — at the moment, American has a mystery bonus where different members receive different offers. This United promotion is better than the bonus shopping offer I received from American — but only marginally better in terms of miles per dollar in relation to required spend (4.29x vs 4x). Still, a few extra miles per dollar is always welcome. If you have any purchases to make during this period, be sure to consider the bonus miles for which you qualify through a shopping portal promotion like this.
