As always with these VanillaGift deals, the best value is buying eGift cards because then the fees are waived entirely. If buying physical gift cards, the purchase fees are still waived, but you’ll have to pay shipping fees.
The end date of this promotion isn’t entirely clear. It’s listed as ending December 2, 2024 at 11:59pm EST, but the countdown timer at the top of the site suggests it’s due to end on December 1 at 11:59pm EST. If you’re interested in taking advantage of this offer, it’d therefore be worth doing that by Sunday night.
It’s best not to pay with Amex cards as they don’t earn rewards on purchases from VanillaGift, plus it’s coded as a cash advance on Amex cards in the past. I’m not aware of this being an issue with cards from other banks and issuers though.
