In addition, if you book an American Airlines flight within the entry period for the sweepstakes, you get 100 additional entries, up to a maximum of four bookings.

Quick Thoughts
There will undoubtedly be ~two gazillion entries for this promo, but it only takes a second to enter, so there’s little harm in trying.
You get 100 additional entries for each AA confirmation code entered, up to a total of 4. I happened to have one sitting around from booking an AA flight through Atmos Rewards, and that worked just fine.
My assumption is that a confirmation code for a flight that’s canceled after you used it to enter would still count as 100 valid entries, so there doesn’t seem to be any reason someone should have fewer than 400 if you want to take the time.
