Starting today at 12:00 Eastern, Capital One Venture X cardmembers will have the opportunity to buy FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for matches in U.S. host cities. This is not a lottery; it will be an opportunity to purchase tickets for these matches, likely at market price. Only the top two pricing levels will be available for each match.
Chase did the same sale two days ago, and tickets were sold out within 20-30 minutes. If you want to get in on this one, be at your computer at noon sharp.
Note that this offer is for personal Venture X cardholders only; Venture X Business cardholders are excluded.

- Tickets are limited to 4 per cardholder.

Quick Thoughts
This looks similar to the sale FIFA ran for Chase cardholders a couple of days ago, but it’s only open to those who hold one Capital One card: the Venture X. In contrast, Chase’s sale was open to cardholders of multiple Chase products. In addition, Chase allowed each household to purchase up to forty tickets, while Capital One is limiting its cardholders to four tickets each. Hopefully, those stricter limits will make it easier for more people to actually score tickets.
This sale also seems more streamlined than Chase’s, which required you to click the “Access Tickets” button shown above, then wait for a unique ticket link that took you to FIFA’s website to sign in and view tickets. Each step in that process was overwhelmed with traffic and would error-out, making it extremely cumbersome to work through.
It looks like Capital One is taking you directly to a special platform to purchase tickets. If there is indeed only one step, it should be easier to get from verification to viewing inventory. Make sure that you register for a FIFA ID before the sale, and have your username and password ready. It will almost certainly slow you down significantly if you wait to sign up until the sale goes live.

Tickets seem incredibly expensive on FIFA website…minimum $2k?
but when I ask AI cheaper options are available!
What is the price range for these tickets?
I’m not sure your last 2 paragraphs are accurate. The link Capital One sent to access the promo is the same website (tevnt.com) that Chase used for theirs. That required you enter your card number, get it verified, then get a link to FIFA’s ticketing platform. Given that it’s the website I suspect it’s the same procedure here
