American Airlines vacations is running some incredible deals on round trip business class flights and included hotel packages to Paris from $1175 per person based on double occupancy (and a few hundred more to Rome). That’s an amazing price for round trip business class flights to Europe — even if you throw away the hotel and book something else, it’s hard to beat this kind of pricing if you’re interested in a trip to Europe.
The Deal
- American Airlines vacations is running some amazing deals on vacation packages including business class airfare and four nights of hotel in Paris, Rome, and potentially more cities (originating in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and potentially more cities)
- Direct link to search at AA vacations
Key Details
- Various cities available from March to October
Quick Thoughts
We’ve written in the past about how vacation packages offered directly from airlines can sometimes offer tremendous value. It makes sense: airfare makes up the majority of the cost in a vacation package and the airline obviously has all the flexibility they want in terms of being able to discount that. Discounting it via a vacation package enables them to keep pricing opaque.
The cheapest packages are of course with low-end hotels. If you’re looking for a paid hotel, options run the gamut. On the flip side, if you’d rather use your points to stay at the Park Hyatt, just book the cheapest hotel package possible and throw away the hotel portion.
Even better, it looks like the cheapest pricing is on flights operated by British Airways. I don’t know for sure whether or not you could credit that to Alaska and earn their big premium cabin bonuses, but if you can that’d be awesome.
This surely won’t last. If you have Paris or Rome on your dome, look at this sooner rather than later.

Hey all — any luck getting full refund due to COVID? On the line with AA Vacations now and they said they can only refund the flight but not hotel — even though we can’t even step foot in France! The whole package was non-refundable, so not sure why they can’t refund the hotel too. They’re saying maybe issue a credit but can’t do full refund.
I tried LAX to CDG, different dates, I got “Forbidden” “You don’t have permission to access this server” message all the time, anybody knows why?
Me too’s I turned off my VPN TOO. I tried my link which I use all the time same thing .
Hmmmmm.
Me too. Not sure the fix
Same problem for JFK to CDG for any dates. “Foridden Access.” AA Vacation website now says “technical difficulties on site “
Sorry guys, this has been dead since a few hours after I posted it. AA killed it. A sale like this isn’t likely to last into the next day. I’ll mark it expired — sorry for any confusion.
Thanks For NUTTHING ..Go look @ Bondi Beach’s Webcam ( Smoke) and then there’s the Volcano in Auckland !! That was my trip for right now or next year .
Always Do ur Homework !!

I had the same thought, but I highly doubt it. The Alaska partner page (https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mileage-plan/how-to-earn-miles/airline-partners/british-airways) says that to get credit for BA flights, the flight needs to be both marketed and operated by BA, and have a BA XXXX flight number within the ranges listed.
And to get credit for AA flights, it needs to be an international flight both marketed and operated by AA prior to March 1. So I think that these AA Vacations flights operated by BA wouldn’t be creditable to Alaska, just AA-operated flights in January or February.
I don’t suppose anyone has a handy AA Vacations discount code?
I am seeing prices as low as $1120, BOS-CDG in April.
Booked RT BIZ from LAX to CDG 8/5/2020-8/20/2020 and hotel for $2987 TOTAL for two!!! THX NICK.
I tried the same, and other dates, but everytime from LAX to CDG, I got “Forbidden” “You don’t have permission to access this server” message, anybody knows why?
Not seeing anything remotely close to those prices. Searched every gateway I could think of on the east coast that BA and AA serve. Even the example of the screenshot is 3 times higher. May just be the dates I’m looking at.
Through Orbitz I’m seeing about $1300 Bos-CDG for Feb 28 to Mar 4 (just to give one example)
Must be my dates. We’re going over the first week of May.
That could be it. May 1 is Labor Day in most of the world, so I can believe that prices / demand could be higher for travel that week.
Plus, May 8th this year is the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Changing dates did the trick. Also, on AAVacations you can choose fewer dates for the hotel stay just like on Orbitz.
How do you change fewer dates for the hotel? I can’t find it. Or do you have to call?
Would also like to know!
Click advance search options from the home page.
Then click the box that says “hotel dates different”.
I just now (at 3:31pm Eastern) ran the same search seen in the post — April 7th to April 11th from Boston to Paris, sorted by price from low to high — and I see the same price shown in the post. Note that by default, it sorts by “popularity”. Choose to sort by price from low to high. Obviously I don’t know what’s available on your dates, but these prices are still out there.
All: Try searching through Orbitz packages. Orbitz is finding similar prices and lets you pick fewer nights for the hotel.
Still nothing from LAX. Trying 4 and 5 nights in any month between May and Oct and can’t find anything close to this price.
Tried several times and got all the way to the confirmation page only to receive “Product You Requested is Not Available”
Interesting. So you put in payment information and then it wouldn’t ticket? I can get up to the payment page. I’m not looking to book it, so I haven’t tried entering my payment info, but I can get all the way to that step.
After a few more tries I was able to snag 3 biz tickets MIA-CGD w 2 weeks of hotel for $4700. UNREAL DEAL. Thanks FM team!
And I don’t think you’d want to stay at that first hotel listed, Kyriad . The TA reviews are priceless
Not finding anything from LAX in any month. 🙁
