Check your Chase Mobile app for a new targeted Chase Offer good for 10% back at Staples. You can only get a maximum of $6 back — so your max purchase price is $60 to get this bonus. Still, that might be worthwhile in conjunction with next week’s fee-free Mastercard gift cards if you do not have a card that earns a better return on office supply purchases and/or are looking to ramp up spend for a particular bonus. Don’t forget to also stack this with Dosh for another 3% back on in-store purchases (that offer is limited to $5 cash back and the terms exclude gift card purchases, but YMMV).

The Deal

  • A new Chase Offer is out on select Chase personal cards good for 10% back at Staples (in-store and online) up to a maximum of $6 back valid for purchases through May 2, 2019

Key Terms

  • Offer expires 5/2/19

Quick Thoughts

Six bucks back isn’t wildly exciting if you’re thinking about buying the fee-free Mastercard gift cards since you can ordinarily earn 5% back at Staples pretty easily by using a card that earns one of the best category bonuses (which, for example, would come out to $10 / 1,000 Ultimate Rewards back on a fee-free $200 Mastercard gift card next week), but this offer may be worthwhile if you’re targeted on a card on which you’re trying to spend towards a specific goal and/or if you’re stacking it with an extra 3% back in-store from Dosh or a shopping portal online. It could also potentially be useful for the plethora of third-party gift cards carried at Staples if you’re looking to buy a denomination of $60 or less,
