Quick Thoughts
The $10 discount by itself isn’t bad as you can combine Hotels.com gift cards (click balance transfer), so you can add this with other Hotels.com deals you’ve gotten and/or will get in the coming weeks.
Additionally, there is a targeted Amex Offer out for $10 back on $75 or more at Newegg. I didn’t receive that offer on any of my cards, but it has been reported on Slickdeals today. It appears to be highly targeted, but if you’ve got it that would stack with this deal for a net cost of $80. Additionally, you might be able to earn portal rewards on the purchase. note that most portal terms exclude the purchase of gift cards, but you could get lucky and/or find one that does not exclude anything.
Bottom line
The $10 off is an OK deal on its own, but if you can stack deals it could turn into a very good discount.
