Wyndham is currently offering double United miles when you transfer Wyndham points to United. Standard transfers are 5 to 1, and so this deal brings the transfer ratio up to 5 to 2. This should stack nicely with the current 25% transfer bonus from hotel programs to United MileagePlus.
The Deal
- A member may transfer 6,000, 16,000 or 30,000 Wyndham Rewards points into United MileagePlus award miles in a single transaction.
- With this offer, transfers will result in the following numbers of United miles:
- 6,000 Wyndham Rewards points equals 2,400 United MileagePlus award miles
- 16,000 Wyndham Rewards points equals 6,400 United MileagePlus award miles
- 30,000 Wyndham Rewards points equals 12,000 United MileagePlus award miles
- Offer ends 11:59 p.m. ET on November 2, 2025
Stacking with the United promo
United is simultaneously offering a 25% transfer bonus from hotel programs to United MileagePlus through October 31st. You must register for the United promo first.
Here’s how it should work if you’ve registered for the United promo and you transfer Wyndham points by October 31st:
- Assume transferring 30,000 Wyndham points
- With this Wyndham promo, 30,000 Wyndham points will transfer into 12,000 United miles
- Thanks to the United promo, on or before January 31, 2026, United will add an additional 3,000 miles (25% of 12,000)
- Altogether, 30,000 Wyndham points = 15,000 United miles
If you plan to do large transfers, keep in mind that United’s promo is limited to 25,000 bonus miles.
Quick Thoughts
The ability to transfer Wyndham points 2:1 to United is quite good! If you’re flush with Wyndham points and could use more miles, this could be an excellent opportunity.

I wasn’t going to move Wyndham points since I’ve found the Vacasa partnership to be a great use of points. However, just got an email this morning saying that’s ending as of November 1st!!! Is it too late to transfer my points to United and take advantage of both specials, given how long it might take points to post?
following. I’m about to move all or big chunk of 235K if bonus is still working. The article says “transfer by Oct 31” so that part sounds like doing so now/today/tomorrow would work? I’d hate to transfer that much and it not work!
I think it’s a big risk to expect the United part to work this late in the month
Greg – If you have only used them on Vacasa in the past and now sitting on 230K, would you transfer today (Oct 31) for just the 100% Wyndham side of the bonus? I don’t need to knee jerk decision because can wait for another transfer bonus if likely down the road or I’m sure I’d find some places to burn these points (in the next several years! LOL)
Sorry, I didn’t get to this while it was relevant. I probably would have held onto the points as long as they weren’t close to expiration. What did you do?
FYI – Wyndham transfers appear to be posted to United on Tuesdays, however, they show the correct date the request for transfer was made (at least for me). I processed request Friday 10/24 and they posted Tuesday 10/28 with a date of 10/24 shown on the United app.
That’s great news! Thanks!
Initiated transfer on Tuesday 10/21 at 8:22 CDT
United miles posted on Tuesday 10/28 after 7pm CDT
Theory that Wyndham->United miles transfers are processed once a week on Tuesday nights is correct!
Alex proposed the idea below that perhaps they process transfers on Tuesday nights.
I decided to test it out — transferred from P1 & P2 Wyndham Tuesday 10 AM PST. United miles posted in both accounts later that evening (I don’t know what time).
I don’t know when the cutoff is, but sometime on 10/28/25 is likely the last day to do this.
appreciate u and alex for commenting. super helpful. i initiated WED 10/22. TBD. if TUE is true, it makes sense pple wait super long. but only week max. so im concerned w/ those waiting longer.
I just moved 30,000 twice. I have not been using Wyndham points anywhere.i still have 56,383 left. Is it worth buying 4000 points to get to 60 and then do two more 30,000 transfers. I’m a little worried cause it’s kind of late and I wanna make sure all this goes through. If I did that I would get rid of the Wyndham Business earner which renews in January.
There is a bit of a risk at this point regarding timing. Also, the sale on Wyndham points is now over, so you’d have to pay full price for the points.
The 25K limit on the UA side for the 25% bonus means that it makes no sense to do more than 250K Wyndham, right?
Exactly right.
Thank you for highlighting this. I have only 8k Wyndham points, mostly from that golf game a few years ago, so not even enough to go RT to Caesars. For a long time I’ve been working on how to not let them expire, and now I can just send them off to United.
10/15 Wyndham 60k transferred showed up in United 24k – now waiting on the bonus to bring it up to 30k total
I did mine 10/9; no miles yet. Need to keep an eye on this.
Regular redemptions 6-8 weeks but the bonus from Wyndham posts separately potentially much later according to Dugraz (see his comment here on DoC post)
How fast does the transfer post to UA? It’s been over 24 hours for me.
Some people have reported that it takes several days.
I did this on 10/8 and it has not yet shown up on United as of 10/10
any other datapoints to see how long the wyndham to united takes?
Update on transfer: Initiated on 10/8 and arrived in my United account on 10/14. (minus the 25% United bonus which will likely be a couple of months yet)
I’m at 4 days now – submitted on Oct 9 and still waiting for the points to show in United.
The miles just showed up in my United account this morning (Oct 15), 6 days after submitting. Don’t yet have the 25% bonus from United.
Given that some people submitted two days ago and got their miles last night (Tue) – I’ll propose a working theory that Wyndham->United miles transfers are processed once a week on Tuesday nights.
Pretty sure you’re correct. Posted an update up top.
I’m on day 5. Wyndham support line said call them after two weeks aka less than two weeks is considered “normal”. I lost patience and bought Marriott points and completed transfer instantly, as my United award space kept shrinking. After this transfer I’m done with Wyndham.
The Wyndham points transferred to my United account in two days. The 25% bonus from United hasn’t yet posted, however.
10/10(Fri) 120K Wyndham point transfer submitted
10/14(Tues) 48K united miles added to Milage Plus account.
pending 25% bonus
Initiated transfer on 10/8.
Posted to UA without bonus 10/14.
The top transfer is 30k pts. Can you do multiple transactions and get all the bonuses still? Looked at the transfer page and terms and don’t see anything about how many times you can make a transfer
yes – there is a drop down for the number of ‘packages’ you want to do qty 2= 60k
I have around 14k Wyndham points, how much would i get in UR? 7k?
Of these, you are eligible to transfer 12K Wyndham. This would result in 6K United Miles. Those miles have an average value of ~$75.
12K Wyndham points are worth an avg $84. Note that if you don’t have a means of actively earning Wyndham points (you only need 2K more points to transfer all!), then you will be left with 2K stranded Wyndham points, roughly $14 value.
Just realized i have 12k 🙂
I have 78k doing a hard expiry (4yrs) middle of next year – this may be a good way to make use. I suppose I could transfer back and forth to Caesars this year and next, but this is a good way to save some UR points and be lazy.
Caesars transfers are now limited to 30k Wyndham points. So you should probably use the remainder this way or another.
Interesting. With the Wyndham points sale, if you get the best offer it works out to 1.26 cents/United point. Not bad.
1.36 actually. I just now posted that stack separately
Ah. I was remembering it being 0.63 cents/point on the sale. Still not bad.
