Choice Privileges is offering daily deals this week as part of its “Members Only Madness” promotion. Today’s deal is an offer to earn 10K points when you book a stay by Friday, November 22nd at midnight and stay by December 31, 2019. That can be a great deal on a cheap stay and might work out better than the current promo to buy points.
The Deal
- Get 10,000 Choice Privileges points when you book by 11/22/19 and stay by December 31, 2019
- Direct link to register for this promotion
Key Terms
- To qualify for this offer you:
- (1) must be a Choice Privileges® Rewards Program Member,
- (2) make a reservation for a qualifying stay on ChoiceHotels.com or through the Choice mobile app by 11:59 PM EST on 11/22/2019, and (
- 3) complete your stay by 12/30/2019.
- This offer is only valid for qualifying stays, which exclude Vacation Rental property locations, and rooms booked below certain rates, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, rooms booked through a travel agent or third party online retailer as part of pre-paid wholesale rates, wholesale packages or senior tours.
- After finishing a qualifying stay completed by December 31, 2019, member will be awarded 10,000 Choice Privileges bonus points. [Bonus points do not qualify for any elite bonuses.]
- This offer may be combined with the Members Only Madness rate discount (only), but Members can only receive the bonus points one time for a qualifying stay through December 31, 2019 (additional stays will not be awarded a bonus).
- The bonus points will be added to the member’s account within 4-8 weeks after the promotion ends on November 22, 2019.

- Available to U.S. and Canadian residents only.
Quick Thoughts
Keep in mind that Choice Privileges considers rates below $40 per not to not be “qualifying stays” for the purposes of most promotions. Still, one cheap Choice Privileges night can yield a nice return in points with this promotion. There are many opportunities to get north of $0.01 per point at Choice properties, so I think the return likely eclipses the room rate in many scenarios. I personally need two one-night stays next month. While I had intended to make them Marriott stays to finish off my path to Titanium status, this promotion is going to be enough for me to book them today with Choice instead (one under my account and one under my wife’s so we can each pick up 10K points). I definitely recommend taking advantage of this one if you can.
If you’re curious as to why I find Choice points valuable enough to sway my stays with this promo, here are a couple of posts to read:
H/T: Loyalty Lobby
It looks like this is targeted. I only see one “deal,” a sweepstakes entry,.
I see a $47 room using the 15 percent off code, which I think I’d do since it’s easy to check in on my way home from work. Unfortunately, the link to the rules of the promotion seems to lead to an error message.
Awesome thank you Nick!
I just see the Cambria sweepstakes. The others say come back other days. I do NOT see the banner about the 10,000 like your screen has.
The $40 limit you mention is a hard limit? I’m seeing a property for $43. Do you think that’ll work for this promotion?
Yup, that should work. Here’s the relevant bit from the Choice Privileges program terms and conditions:
You do not earn Choice Privileges points for rooms booked at rates below $40 per night, complimentary rooms, rooms paid for as part of a convention or meeting, or rooms booked through a travel agent or third party online retailer as part of pre-paid wholesale rates, wholesale packages or senior tours.
Rooms booked through third party online retailers such as Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, Travelocity.com, Booking.com, Priceline.com, etc., are not eligible for points or Elite night credit.
Complimentary rooms include award night rooms?
Correct. You don’t earn points or trigger promotions with awards nights (with Choice). You need a paid stay. A paid rate of $43 ought to work unless it’s like a convention rate or something.
Just straight up member rate. Booked it!
Thanks. Also wondering if it could be combined with the 15% off “preferred customer” they are currently also offering.
I saw other bloggers that indicated you should be able to stack them.
I had already booked a room using the 15% off promo. I tried to rebook to stack with the 10k points, but Choice won’t allow reusing the 15% promo code (off the email they sent).
