Amazon is offering 16% off on Instacart gift cards with promo code INSTACART. We added this deal to our Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals post this morning, but I thought this was worth a post since Doctor of Credit reported that there doesn’t appear to be any limit apart from only being able to use the promo code one time.
The Deal
- Amazon is offering 16% off on Instacart gift cards with promo code INSTACART
- Direct link to deal (our affiliate link)
Key Terms
- Promo code works one time per account (but you can buy multiple cards in a single order at the time of writing)
Quick Thoughts
It is surprising that Amazon is allowing the code to be used on multiple cards. I added eleven $100 gift cards to my cart and once I applied the promo code my total came down by 16%. If you frequently use Instacart, this is an excellent deal.
The 16% discount probably won’t completely mitigate whatever upcharge there may be on items ordered through Instacart, but if you value the convenience of delivered groceries and/or are looking to stock up to meet a spending requirement, this could be a great deal. I don’t know exactly what the limit is per order, but since you can only use the code one time, you’ll want to both be sure to order the amount you want on the first order and not order so much that the order gets cancelled and you get no gift cards. Best of luck.
I tried buying four cards. When I checked my Amazon account, it said the transaction was cancelled
You can also earn 3 miles/dollar at Sam’s club through airline portals, so better deal there I believe…
Stack with Cash App 10% Boost on SamsClub and it’s a even better deal! (SamsClub has it for 15% off on their website)
if I use my newly opened Amex Platinum card will that be a problem?
Awesome! Just got $700 gift cards 🙂
Thanks just bought $1000 worth.
Hey there Nick, I pointed this deal out (and the one-checkout limit) on DoC. Is there an easy way to submit deals like this directly to you guys? I’ve frequently submitted via email or the web form, but it seems hit or miss.
