Amazon is offering 20% back in rewards for those with the Amazon Prime Visa and Amazon store card on a very random selection of items. It’s unclear as to whether this is only for new account approvals, though I suspect this likely works for existing users as well.
The Deal
- 20% back on select items with an Amazon Prime credit card or Amazon store card.
- Direct link to promotion page (our affiliate link, but remember you could go through JetBlue for 3x on purchases)
- Direct link to eligible items (our affiliate link, or go through JetBlue for 3x)
Key Details
- Only eligible for rewards on the portion paid with your Amazon Prime credit card or Amazon store card (if you pay part in gift cards, you will not receive 20% back on that portion)
Quick Thoughts
If you happen to need something on the list, 20% back in rewards will certainly make it a better deal.
It’s worth noting that this is a really random list of stuff (it’s about 10 pages long). For example, here are three things in order on a random page in the middle somewhere:
Getting 20% back on that Shure mic looks like a pretty good deal (According to camelcamelcamel, the lowest price since May 2011 was $347 — after rewards, this is a net ~$320). On the other hand, I’m pretty sure that you either want the Purina Beyond Dash button or you don’t…the extra 37¢ back in rewards probably won’t be the deciding factor.
There really is a lot of range. I skipped around rather than going through every page and the most expensive item I saw was a mattress for about $2200. I saw a number of dash buttons on the low end. If you make a purchase, let us know what you found!
