Quick Thoughts
This can be a solid deal for those looking to use Thank You points for something other than travel. At 1.25c per point, you can get reasonable value for Citi ThankYou points with this deal, particularly for Apple given that we don’t often see Apple discounts. That said, we have seen a number of opportunities to get an Apple gift card with a bonus merchant gift card over the past few days.
Still, this could make for a good stack with Apple’s Cyber Monday sale (which adds up to a $200 Apple gift card with your purchase from Apple). It could also be a good way to cash out points if you are into gift card resale.
