[…] Altitude Reserve application now live […]
Yesterday I asked to be reconsidered (auto-reject due to being a credit card customer only) and today I called back and checked my application status and was approved. I have two existing US Bank CCs I rarely use.
The message said I would get the card in 10 business days; since I have a travel purchase to make I called to see if it could be expedited and was told the Altitude is automatically expedited, mine will send tomorrow and arrive the next day.
What does this mean: “Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite® Card. At this time we are unable to approve your application based on the information you have provided. You will receive additional information on your application request via U.S. Mail in 7-10 business days. Or, you may call 800-654-**** for more information.” Denied? Approval/denial pending manual handling? I have had US Bank cards for several years with a spotless record and good credit. No checking or savings with USBank.
@Puzzled- Please read what I wrote above you. The system is not seeing your credit card history. So, call them and they will process it in a few days.
I was given that message too and I did not save the screen shot. Can someone give me the phone number above to call 1-800-654-????
Thanks
1-800-654-0648
Takes a while to get through the menus. I had to listen to my denial and then had an option to talk to someone. That was yesterday, was approved today.
I applied and got rejected! Nothing unusual in my credit history (I have an 800 score), except the usual round of credit apps that perhaps US Bank doesn’t like. I do have one of their credit cards (the ClubCarlson one), so I assume I am a “customer.”
Call them as most applications that do not have a checking and savings account history are automatically being denied. If you call them, then they will see that you have a credit card history with them and they will put the application in manual review and get back in a few days.
Just a heads up.
Do you guys know if the 3x mobile wallet works on any mobile pay apps? Im planning to charge all my utility bills on this that accept credit cards.
It should work with RadPad to pay rent, but I’m not aware of other bill payment systems that take Apple Pay or Samsung Pay
