Ebay will be offering 15% off site-wide via the Ebay app, 4/26 only from 11am to 4pm Eastern (8am to 1pm Pacific time) with coupon code PLAN2SAVE. The total discount is capped at $50, but this should stack with 5% back via Chase Freedom when paying with PayPal, making for some solid discounts.
The Deal
- 15% off site-wide via the eBay app (maximum discount of $50) from 11am to 4pm Eastern time (8am to 1pm Pacific) with coupon code PLAN2SAVE
Key Terms
- Excludes Coins & Paper Money, Real Estate, and Gift Cards & Coupons
- Maximum discount = $50
Quick Thoughts
This is a good discount since it is site-wide. There is also a category-specific coupon code for 20% off of select home & garden items from specific sellers (coupon code PREP4SUMMER), but a side-wide 15% discount on the app might be better since you can shop around for the best price. Note that I don’t believe the 15% and 20% discounts will stack.
If you’re an eBay seller, today would be a good day have your items listed for sale since you may get some more eyeballs on your listings. Also note that while you can not shop through most portals to take advantage of in-app eBay discounts, Doctor of Credit reports that the Ibotta app works. Ibotta is currently offering up to 1.5% cash back (varies some based on category) and up to $10 in cash back per purchase. If you’re interested in signing up for Ibotta, feel free to use my referral link with my thanks.
Even without any cash back, a 15% site-wide discount can surely open up some good shopping opportunities. Don’t forget that the Chase Freedom card is offering 5% back on PayPal purchases this quarter (on up to $1500 in 5% purchases), which will stack nicely with this sale.

I tried to purchase using the eBay app and couldn’t get the 15% to show up.
You’re right — there is a coupon code (PLAN2SAVE). I just added it to the post.
Thanks!!
