Quick Thoughts
Amex, you beauty! These are some pretty generous Amex Offers given the high spend limits, especially the Staples and Lowe’s ones. I’m sure all of us can find something to buy at those two stores which would make these offers profitable. Even better is that the Staples and Lowe’s offers can be used both online and in store and over multiple transactions.
The Exxon Mobil offer is good for getting a 10% discount on fuel, but it’s a shame that one’s limited to transactions at the pump. Speedpass app transactions are included, but I’ve never used the app. If anyone’s more familiar with the app, is it possible to pay for in-store gift card purchases using a credit card that’s linked on the app?
Edit: Per Jamie’s comment below, you can only pay for fuel using the Speedpass app. Exxon Mobil is also offering 10c off per gallon until July 10 which will stack with this Amex Offer.
The Dell offer has less interest to me personally, but it’ll be good for those of you out there who resell Dell products given the $15,000 spend limit.
All four of these offers expire at the end of November, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of them. Staples has been offering no-fee Visa and Mastercard gift card deals recently, so the Staples Amex Offer would make any future deals of that kind to be profitable in addition to the points / miles you’d earn. An expiry date of November 30 also means it’ll expire after any Black Friday deals
Load these offers to your cards ASAP as enrollment is limited.
