Quick Thoughts
As noted at the top, you can find some great savings on items that aren’t often discounted. Here are some examples, some of things I saw that looked like good deals without a ton of research on each:
- Nintendo Switch (currently sold out, but keep an eye out for a re-stock) for $225
- Sony PlayStation 4 Pro (currently sold out, but keep an eye out for a re-stock) $299.99
- Briggs & Riley ‘Sympatico’ Expandable Wheeled Packing Case (Medium) = $379.20 (this one looks like a particularly good deal as I couldn’t find this bag priced anywhere near this elsewhere)
- GoPro HERO6 for $299.99
- Nest HELLO Video Doorbell $149.25
- DEWALT 20-Volt MAX XR Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Hammerdrill/Impact Combo Kit (2-Tool) with (2) Batteries 5Ah and Charger $224.25
- Nikon D3400 18-55mm Kit – $396.99
- Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR with 18-55mm IS and 75-300mm III Lenses $336.75
- Char-Griller 56720 Akorn Kamado Charcoal Grill $194.70 (I have a Big Green Egg that I got used on Craigslist and I love it, but these things get great reviews for a lot less money) — also available with a cart for a few bucks more, though check the size)
- Weber 731001 Smokey Mountain Cooker Smoker $299.99
- Apple AirPods Bluetooth Wireless Earbud True Earphones with Mic $119.99
- Segway miniLITE Self-Balancing Scooter (only available if you live near Fry’s….I have both the Xiaomi Ninebot-branded version of this and the Segway miniPRO and these are a ton of fun): $299.99
- Enfamil Premium Gentlease Infant Formula, 2 pk./20.9 oz $31.49
- Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H7 Bluetooth Wireless On-Ear Headphones with Mic $262.48 (some who have seen me speak know that I own a pair of these for better or worse. I haven’t ever seen them for less)
As noted above, availability with vary. Since I’m on the East Coast, I can’t order from Fry’s. Some items may be in stock in one area and not in another. I’d advise checking back if you have your eye on something in particular. Sometimes prices are inflated on Google Express, but I didn’t see better pricing immediately available on the items I listed above. As always, shop around. Unfortunately, the Google Express Amex Offer recently expired. Keep an eye out for any new offers that come out in the coming days.
If you make any other good finds, let me know in the comments and I’ll add them to the post for other readers.
If you are new to Google Express, I believe you can still qualify for a $10 off of $10 coupon for your first order by signing up via referral link. You can’t stack that with this offer, but I believe it will stay in your account to be applied to your next order anyway. Many stores are offering free shipping with a $15 or more purchase — before coupon code (so you can get $15 worth of stuff for $5 plus tax shipped). Note that some stores like Costco require $35 or more for free delivery, but most are offering it with a $15 order right now. If you’re new and would like to sign up, consider using my referral link with my thanks.

“Sorry, the limit has been reached for this promo”
Yeah, thanks Google for letting us know there was a limit. *@#$(*&@$!!
Do you not like the H7s?
It’s not that I don’t like them — it’s a reselling story from my presentations that has a positive/negative side. I like them very much. I can’t really offer a comparison against other similarly-priced headphones, but I like them very much just the same. I have a pair of Bose QC25’s and those feel lighter / less noticeable, but the H7’s sound better and I love the fact that they’re also wireless (great around the house and when I need to drown out outside noise and write).
This is awesome, Nick. Any idea if you can use this code more than once for multiple orders?
I believe it’s one per customer / Google account.
Regarding being local to Fry’s, is there a way to get this if I do not _live_ locally but can get there easily? I am ~100 miles away from the nearest one in Chicago-land, but make it to the area reasonably often for work.
Did you click that to see if it’s available in your area? I would suspect you would be in the delivery zone. If not, you’re out of luck I think.
