Quick Thoughts
ThankYou points usually transfer to Flying Blue on a 1:1 basis, so with this transfer bonus they’ll transfer on a 1:1.3 basis.
That’s great news if you’d like to take advantage of the Promo Rewards that I wrote about earlier today. (See: Flying Blue Promo Rewards: 50% Off Award Tickets From IAD & IAH.) For example, I’d found round trip flights from Houston to Prague for 26,000 miles in Economy. With this transfer bonus, you’d only need to send over 20,000 ThankYou points to book that flight.
That’s a steal given that similar travel dates would require the following on other airlines:
- Delta – 74,000 miles
- American Airlines – 60,000 miles
- United – 60,000 miles
