United is offering a 25% bonus when transferring hotel points to United. Since most hotel programs offer poor transfer ratios to miles, this isn’t an especially exciting deal, but it could be useful for some, especially when stacking with other deals. See, for example: 100% transfer bonus from Wyndham to United MileagePlus (Stack with United offer to bring ratio to 2:1).
The Deal
- You must register for this offer first. The registration link can be found here.
- The offer is available through October 31, 2025
- Maximum bonus miles = 25,000
- For transfers of Marriott Bonvoy points into MileagePlus miles, the standard offer of a 10,000 miles bonus for every 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points transferred shall be excluded when calculating the Bonus Miles for this offer.
- Bonus miles will be credited into the member’s account on or before January 31, 2026.

Quick Thoughts
It’s rarely a good deal to convert hotel points to airline miles. While the 25% bonus helps somewhat, it doesn’t significantly alter the overall math. That said, if you were going to transfer to United anyway, then this is the time to do it. Just make sure to register first!

Anyone got the 25% bonus miles from United? I have transferred more than 2 weeks now, but still haven’t got it yet.
From the email confirmation:
“At the conclusion of the promotion, all miles earned by each member from Qualifying Activity will be multiplied by 25% to determine the eligible bonus up to a maximum of 25,000 bonus miles. Bonus miles will be credited into the member’s account on or before January 31, 2026.”
So it might be a while before the bonus miles post.
Is the bonus instant credited to your account? I am pretty sure I registered the offer but I still haven’t got the bonus points from UA after a week.
After registering for the offer with United, I received email confirmation that I registered. Unfortunately, I converted 30k wyndham points before registering and another 30k points after registering. Found this article a little late. ugh I need the united pts for Business class fare i’ve been eyeing. Hope it transfers quickly
so i could transfer from chase to hyatt and then hyatt to united to get 25% bonus?
2.5 Hyatt = 1 UA mile, so yes you could, but you’d lose half your points.
I don’t see me ever using Choice points, are they included?
