Quick Thoughts
This comes on the heels of the 20% transfer bonus from Brex and several recent sales on LifeMiles. It remains pretty easy to amass a big LifeMiles balance if you’re able to take advantage of LifeMiles sweet spots.
This will also stack very nicely with a transfer bonus that Avianca announced this morning of 115% when you transfer miles to a friend or family member. With both promos combined, you can generate points at a cost of about 1c per point. A post on that promo is coming shortly.

It was included in the email they sent today about the award sale to Central / South America. See the fine print under “Terms and Conditions” on the promo page (I know it still says 8/20 at the top of the page, but down at the bottom under T&C it lists the 8/27 end date).

When I go to transfer thank you points it is only giving me 1 lifemile per point.
The bonus shows on the Lifemiles side after you transfer.
