Carnival Cruise Line: Get $150 back on $750 with new Amex Offer

0

There’s a new Amex Offer out that’s good for $150 back when you spend $750 or more at Carnival Cruise Line. This can even be useful for those folks who take advantage of “free” cruises, as it can help offset port taxes or be used for deposits.

The Deal

  • There’s a new, targeted Amex Offer out today that’s good for $150 back after spending $750 or more at Carnival Cruise Line.
    • Enrollment required

Terms and Conditions

  • Offer valid only for qualifying Carnival Cruise Line reservations booked directly with Carnival online only at US website carnival.com, by calling 1-800-764-7419, or through a Carnival Cruise Line travel advisor between 3/10/2025 and 7/24/2025.
  • The Offer is only valid for bookings paid for by 7/24/2025, however the Carnival Cruise Line travel can occur after the end date for the Offer, provided that the booking was made within the applicable Offer period.
  • Excludes Holland America, Princess Cruises, Seabourn and Cunard brands, purchases made onboard cruise ships, Carnival Bon Voyage presales and purchases through the mobile app.
  • Excludes single and group shore excursions, weddings and occasions, meetings, charters, airport transportation, Fly2Fun, in-room gifts and shopping add-ons, and The Fun Shops. Not valid for gift card purchases. Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

Quick Thoughts

This is a nice offer, even if you’ve done cruise line matching for a “free” Carnival cruise since you’ll still have to pay a small deposit and port taxes, which makes it almost perfect for many of those itineraries.

The offer terms exclude onboard purchases, but it should still work if you add the offer to one of your cards and make a credit card payment toward your folio with that card. Also, if you’re in a 2-player household and both of you have the offer, you should be able double it up by making two separate payments of $750, one on each card.

Note that, although the offer expires on 7/24, you only have to pay by that date, not travel.
