Goldbelly is a service that offers long-distance food delivery. Think gifts like pastries or cakes from famous bakeries, New York or Chicago-style pizza from a well-known restaurant, Muffalettas from New Orleans, etc. Previously, it was possible to buy a $10 Goldbelly gift card. However, they are now enforcing a $25 minimum for gift card purchases.
Goldbelly is perhaps most well-known among our readership for being one of the merchants eligible for use of a “coupon” credit. The American Express Gold Card offers up to $10 per month in statement credits for purchases at select merchants. At the time of writing, Goldbelly is one of those merchants.
Until this week, it was possible to buy a $10 Goldbelly gift card initially through the website and then only through the app. However, it is no longer possible to purchase a $10 Goldbelly gift card.
In other words, moving forward, a minimum Goldbelly purchase will be larger than it used to be. Some will still find Goldbelly a worthwhile use of the credit, but this might steer some toward other best uses to maximize credits and rebates.

As a reminder, Gold Belly’s MCC is caterer as opposed to restaurant or grocery store.
Bummer you can’t split tender. Any ideas?
This is trash. Every single coupon credit keeps getting worse across all my cards
The GC deal went Goldbelly up 🙁
