Music Credit – “swappin’ back n’ forth” by up @ night

I retired recently, but I was a scientist for several decades and hired a ton of scientist for research positions. Greg’s approach to hiring sounds very familiar to me, which might help explain the high quality of the analysis on FM.
Nick, I’m with you on running to see a city! Not a exactly a way to get around, mind you, but it is a great way to see things you won’t see otherwise.
imo, the GHK @ 45k hyatt points is ridiculously overpriced. 25k yes, 35k debatable, 45k definitely not even if sitting on a 1MM points. the property is dated and is not worth the $1000/night that is being charged.
The Grand Hyatt is worth 45K the way a one way biz class ticket from NY to London is worth 150K. If you want what you want, it’s worth it. If you’re looking for “value,” you spend your money some other way.
Kinda how I feel about Andaz Papagayo. Wanted to go for a while and kept putting it off, it went from redeemable with the cat 1-4 certs to now in Cat 8 and doesnt seem to have had any recent renovations. Oh well.
Isn’t it just supply and demand? I see cash rates at $800+ per night on spring dates that interest me.
To whoever asked, I can confirm booking multi nights at WA Pedregal and taking them off worked for me about two years ago…. Never had an issue doing that with Hilton or other programs.
