Frontier offering 20-month unlimited “GoWild” Pass for $299

4

Each year, Frontier offers a GoWild! all-you-can-fly pass. Folks who buy one are able to take as many Frontier flights as they want, including to international destinations like Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.

Now, Frontier is selling a special “annual” GoWild! pass that’s good for almost 20 months (now – April 30th, 207) and comes in at a reduced price…$299. That could add up to a lot of flying for not a lot of cash, especially since you can potentially get over a year of Frontier Gold elite status for $69.

The Deal

  • Buy a Frontier GoWild! annual, all-you-can-fly pass for $299.
    • Includes a GoWild! annual pass for the remainder of 2025/26 as well
    • Valid from date of purchase to 4/30/27
    • It’s unclear when the promo ends. Originally, there was an expiry of 9/5, but the promo is still up, and there’s no longer an expiration date listed.

Quick Thoughts

This new GoWild! Pass is available for $299 and is valid for almost twenty months (if you buy it now). At renewal, the price will increase to $599, so don’t forget to cancel if you don’t want to extend.

Twenty months of unlimited flights for $299 sounds like a great deal, right? It could certainly be…but there are a few restrictions.

For most domestic routes, you can’t book your flight until the day before departure (that window moves out to 10 days for international flights). There’s a note in the terms that says that certain “GoWild” fares will be available to confirm in advance, but it’s unclear how extensive that feature will be and how much the “early booking” fee will be.

Additional restrictions include:

  • Taxes and fees aren’t included in the pass. These can be especially significant on international flights where taxes and fees can top $100.
  • There are just shy of 100 blackout days, most of which are days when many folks will want to travel. That effectively means you can only fly for ~17 out of those 20 months.

That said, there are also a couple of significant improvements:

  • If you’re able to match to Frontier Gold Status, you’ll get free bags and seat selection, which will take a big bite out of a lot of the potential fees and make all that travel much more comfortable.
  • You now earn miles on all GoWild! purchases. Previously, flights didn’t earn miles or help you qualify for elite status.

Overall, this newest Frontier GoWild! pass has the potential to be a great deal for folks who have lots of flexibility and are well-served by Frontier. However, given the booking limitations and additional fees involved, it’s worth doing the math to make sure that it pencils out before…going wild.

It’s a scam. Save your money. They might as well make it 100 months free. Impossible to book this fare and no transparency. BBB grade F.

The website says the GoWild offer is good through 9/12 (today):
“This exclusive offer is available for a short time, so be sure to take advantage by 9/12!”

The Gold status offer that you link to expired on 9/9.

I’ve been considering this GoWild offer for the last couple days. I’m mostly viewing it as a gamble, but for $299 I could probably get my money’s worth even if I’m only able to use it three times in 20 months. Since most flight bookings are essentially cancellable these days, I’m envisioning basically checking to see if it makes sense to change to Frontier the day before all the flights I’ve booked with other airlines.

The route map is the one thing that gives me pause. While Frontier has a decent number of destinations from my home airport, there are really only one or two that are destinations that I care about. With a connection, I could get nearly everywhere in their network but in my experience searching Frontier tickets in the past, they would often require layovers of 6+ hours.

The key phrase is: “last seat availability is not guaranteed”. They may have multiple flights per day with available seats, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to book any of them with your pass. You’ll just end up buying a last minute flight with another airline, so save your cash.

Previously, flights didn’t earn miles or help you qualify for elite status.” How many miles are we expected to get from a ~$15 GoWild ticket? How’s that helping to qualify for elite status?
