Another of the great new travel-related Amex Offers that came out in the last couple of days is one that can save you up to 25% on Homes & Villas by Marriott stays.
The Deal
- Spend $1,000 in one or more purchases with Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy & get $250 back with a targeted Amex Offer.

Quick Thoughts
Getting $250 back on a $1,000+ stay is very rewarding, especially if you manage to find a stay (or stays) that only cost marginally more than a total of $1,000.
Depending on your stay dates, this will stack with the up to 15,000 bonus points promo specifically for Homes & Villas stays. The latest global Marriott promotion also mentions Homes & Villas stays as being eligible, so that could earn you even more bonus points.

If you don’t need to book your stay immediately, browse the Homes & Villas website with the Capital One Shopping browser extension installed as you might subsequently get a targeted email offering 15% back on stays.
Homes & Villas doesn’t let you split payment per se, but it might still be possible to earn two statement credits if you have the offer on a couple of household cards. My understanding is that you can pay for part of a stay now and part in the future. If that is indeed possible and your stay comes to $2,000+, you can hopefully pay $1,000 now on one card to earn a $250 statement credit, then pay the balance of $1,000+ before November 19 with a different card with the Amex Offer loaded to it to earn a second statement credit. I’ve never booked a Homes & Villas stay myself, so I’m not 100% certain that’s how this works; I just vaguely remember someone in the past mentioning that this is a potential workaround.
