If you’ve enjoyed having the ability to earn Wyndham Rewards points via its shopping portal, I’m afraid there’s bad news: it’s closing down with effect from April 4, 2026.
As you can see from the screenshot above, the Wyndham Rewards shopping portal has a message stating the following:
Important Notice: April 3, 2026 is the final date to make a purchase on this site and earn Wyndham Rewards points.
Only purchases processed by April 3, 2026 and approved by retailers by June 3, 2026 will be eligible to earn points.
While the Wyndham portal hasn’t been my go-to portal on a day-to-day basis, there have been times where it’s offered very generous rates. In particular, during Member Month there’s usually been some kind of promo where rates at many retailers got boosted which led to the phenomenon known as Wyndham Math. Those rates could sometimes be incredibly high, so their bad math occasionally worked in our favor.
Alas, that’ll be no more. That said, Wyndham Rewards’ Member Month usually takes place in March each year, so hopefully we’ll get one last hurrah from the portal with it offering blowout rates before shutting down on April 4.
