Chase launched a couple of new transfer bonuses today. One of them is giving a 20% bonus when transferring Ultimate Rewards points to Air Canada Aeroplan, with this bonus stacking with the 10% bonus that Chase Aeroplan® credit cardholders benefit from.

Quick Thoughts
Chase tends to run Aeroplan transfer bonuses a couple of times per year, usually in the 20%-30% range. Historically, those transfer bonuses have occurred in June and December, so it’s mildly interesting to see it appearing a little earlier this year.
Even though this latest bonus is on the lower end of the scale at 20%, it does stack with the transfer bonus benefit that Chase Aeroplan cardholders get. As a reminder, Aeroplan cardholders get a 10% bonus when transferring at least 50K Ultimate Rewards to their Aeroplan account which is capped at 25K bonus points per year (i.e. maxing out when transferring a total of 250K points).

Usually no. Im pretty sure you are fine up to 500k.
