Best Western has opened registration for a new promotion that’s awarding 2,500 bonus points per night, with a limit of 10,000 bonus points. This is only valid for stays from July 1-7, but if you’re going to be going away to celebrate the 250th birthday of the US, this could come in handy.
Even better, it’ll stack with a separate Best Western promotion that’s awarding 1,000 bonus points per night.

The Deal
- Earn 2,500 bonus points per night when staying at Best Western properties in the US, Canada, or the Caribbean in the first week of July.
- Direct link to registration.
Key Terms
- Best Western Rewards members will receive 2,500 BWR bonus points for every qualified night* stayed at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean between July 1, 2026 and July 7, 2026.
- For every qualified night booked during the Booking Period, a Rewards Member can earn 2,500 Bonus Points a maximum of four (4) times during the Promotion Period (i.e., four (4) total qualified nights).
- The total Bonus Points awarded for this promotion may not exceed 10,000 Bonus Points per Rewards Member.
- A Rewards Member’s earning preference must be set to BWR points.
- Promotion registration and BWR enrollment/membership is required prior to the first qualified night.
- Qualified nights completed prior to promotion registration, booked outside the Booking Period, or completed before BWR enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the promotion requirements.
- A “qualified night” for the purpose of this promotion is defined as a stay of at least one night at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean, at a rate eligible for earning Points, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, booked through a tour operator, or booked at a special discounted rate.
- Qualified nights that take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before July 7, 2026, to count towards the promotion.
Quick Thoughts
Our Reasonable Redemption Value for Best Western Rewards points is 0.61 cents per point. That means 2,500 points are worth ~$15 which is a pretty good return per night, especially because you’ll earn an additional 1,000 bonus points per night provided you also register for this promotion before booking.
The downside is that there’s a limited stay period for earning these bonus points. Best Western is running this promotion to incentivize stays with them over the country’s 250th birthday, so it’s only valid for stays from July 1-7.
In addition to the rewards from these promotions, you can earn additional rewards when clicking through from a shopping portal. You can find the current rates here and here. It’s also worth browsing the Best Western website before booking with the Capital One Shopping browser extension installed. Capital One Shopping sometimes sends out targeted promotions via email of 20%-30% for Best Western which is far better than current rates through other shopping portals.
If you have any American Express cards, also keep an eye out for a targeted Best Western Amex Offer which is giving $50 back when spending $250.
