Quick Thoughts
Discounted gift cards can help you save on intended purchases, though keep in mind that you’ll forgo credit card protections and extended warranties when paying with gift cards. Still, between the normal discounts on Raise and the additional 10% off, there are some solid deals on brands that are rarely discounted beyond 10%. For example, you could grab American Airlines or Delta gift cards at north of 10% off. Dell gift cards are currently discounted 7% from face value — stacking an additional 10% off there would beat the rate anywhere else. Of course, you could do even better and save 20% on a wide range of gift cards at Lowe’s with our earlier Quick Deal (See: New Lowe’s offer: $10 / 1K back on $50) — but if you know you’ll max that out or have use for a brand that would be even more deeply discounted in this sale, you’ll still want to check this one out.
Remember also that you can go through a shopping portal, but check the terms of the portal you choose as there are lifetime caps for cash back on Raise purchases.
